THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU AS A FUNDRAISER
When you create a secure account on OurFund for the purpose of creating a fundraising page for your team or group, we collect your name, title, email address, mailing address, your password, and information about what your plans and goals are for the money you raise. We will never share your information with any third party unless you give us your express consent.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU WHEN YOU PARTICIPATE
If you are voluntarily participating in an OurFund fundraiser for your team or group, we collect your name, the email address of you and your potential supporters, and occasionally, your phone number. These items allow us to ensure proper credit of the gifts along with “Thank you” emails and receipts. At no time will we ever share your information with a third party unless you give us your express consent.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU WHEN YOU DONATE
If you donate on OurFund, we collect your first and last name, credit or debit card details (including card type, card number and expiration date) and billing address. We will only use your payment details for the purpose of processing your donation for our payment processor, Priority Payment Systems, and never store any of your information. SECURITY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
The transfer of online transaction data to and from the web site is protected by the implementation of a Secure Sockets Layer protocol. Our Verisign 128-bit secure certificate allows web browsers to verify the authenticity of our secure.ourfund.us domain and to communicate with our site securely, protecting confidential information from interception and hacking. It is your responsibility to keep your password secure at all times to avoid unauthorized use of your OurFund account.
Although unlikely, OurFund may be forced by law to provide personally identifiable information to the appropriate authorities.
With respect to personal information that it receives from the European Union (EU), OurFund abides by the Safe Harbor framework agreed to by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the EU.
