A message from Head Coach Johnny White
As we head into my second year as Head Coach of the Douglas County High School Football team, I am extremely excited about the 2017 season. This season, we expect to see another big step forward. The kids understand what the coaching staff is looking for, and the coaches have a better feel for the talents of our players. Even with each of us getting to know each other last season, we were able to finish 2016 with a strong 6-4 record - the school's first winning record since 2007! Ten Tigers from the 2016 team signed scholarships to play in college, and nine rising seniors already have offers for next year! So improvements on those results will take us a long way in 2017!
My staff and I are dedicated to each and every player in our program and we know our student athletes will represent our community in a positive manner. We have a tremendous senior class that will provide the leadership we need, as well as some talented underclassmen who are eager to show their stuff at the varsity level. I would like to personally invite all of our Tiger supporters to join us this season in support of our student athletes. As a group, our athletes will continue to pursue excellence, both in the classroom, and on the field.
2017 is guaranteed to be an exciting season as we continue to build on the tradition of excellence within the Tiger Football program!
How you can help the Tigers Football team
Continuing to pursue the high standards set by previous Douglas County Football teams requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We attempt to provide our players with the best experience possible, from camps and 7 on 7's in the summer, through the State Playoffs. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Douglas County Tiger football supporters from all over. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help sustain the tradition of Douglas County Football and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Tigers.
As our athletes are working hard this off-season in the weight room and classroom preparing for the season, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide a championship caliber program and facilities for our young men. The contributions we receive will allow us to cover the cost such as replacement helmets to keep the boys safe from concussions and new uniforms to replace our outdated ones. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young men of character, integrity, and pride.

A Message From Johnny White
Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2017 Douglas County Football team. Our team is working really hard preparing for this season, and we are ready for a long playoff run next fall!
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the football program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
