The Champions!!
Burlington Lacrosse is enjoying the view from the top of the mountain in 2017, and looking to ride the momentum built from last season's State Championship!! The 2016 season finished up with a dramatic 10-6 victory over Stowe, and the Seahorses first Division II State Championship since 2007. That success, coming off an 18-1 season, will definitely make us the "hunted" in 2017. Despite losing some fantastic players to graduation, the Seahorses have a tremendous amount of talent returning. It will be a challenge, but our boys are ready to put the time in to go for a "back to back"!
As Head Coach of the Seahorses Lacrosse team, I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. We take great pride in our program and our goal is to continue to uphold the standard of excellence created by previous Burlington High teams. As coaches, we ask a lot from our players and hold them to high standards in the classroom, lacrosse field, and in the community. This standard of excellence has created some extraordinary results in the past, and we no reason to expect anything different in 2017!
Come on out and watch the Seahorses play this season. We'll put on a show for you!
How you can help the Seahorses Lacrosse team
Continuing to pursue the high standards that we have set for the Burlington Lacrosse team requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We attempt to provide our players with the best experience possible, from summer workouts through the State Playoffs. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Burlington supporters from all over. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help sustain the tradition of Burlington Lacrosse and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Seahorses.
As our players continue to work hard in the classroom and on the field this off season, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes championship level resources and equipment. The contributions we receive will help us to cover the costs of a subscription fee for the Krossover video tool, player apparel, training equipment and other unforeseen expenses for the season. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young men of character, integrity, and pride.

A Message From Robbie Mafuta
Are you ready for some lacrosse? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2017 Burlington Lacrosse team. Our team has worked really hard preparing for this season, and we are ready to get back to the State Championship!
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the lacrosse program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $400 -- but any donation would be great! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
