A message from Head Coach Kyle Barkley

As the Head Coach of the Lexington Minutemen Football team, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these young men as they work toward their goals, both on the field and in life. As we begin the 2015 season, the entire organization - players, coaches, and booster club - is working very hard to help the Minutemen have their best season possible. While we graduated a number of fine young men, we have a tremendous amount of talent returning. Those openings from graduation are just opportunities for the returning players, and those young men are hungry to compete.

I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. We have a great group of kids that I have truly enjoyed getting to know. Our kids are not only strong on the football field, but in the classroom and the community. We expect great things from our kids this year, both on and off the field, and we can't wait to get started!

I would like to thank you in advance for your support and assistance in making our players and teams successful.

How you can help the Minutemen Football team

The accomplishments and goals we hope to achieve as players, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort and resources. Unfortunately, we receive very limited funding by the school or county. The large majority of our program's funding is generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community. This supporting cast is an integral part in the success of our program.

As our kids continue to work hard on the field and in the classroom in preparation for the season, we respectfully request your financial assistance. My goal is to offer our players the very best football experience possible while keeping them safe. The funds that we raise are going towards new uniforms, travel costs for away games, and needed upgrades to our facilities to help players in their conditioning. Most importantly your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, young men of character, integrity, and pride.

Thank you in advance for your support!

A Message From Danny Capps

Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2015 Lexington Minutemen Football team. Our team is working really hard this summer and this year’s team is working towards a long playoff run!

One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the football program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but I'm shooting to beat that goal! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.

Thanks again and I hope you can come to see me and our team play this fall as we make our playoff run!
