A message from Head Coach Kurt Stein
Oakdale Football is getting people's attention in the state of MD!! After tremendous success in Class 2A the Bears will make the move to Class 3A in 2015. A strong 8-3 2014 season resulted in a playoff appearance, and a second straight winning season for the Bears. Not bad for a school that has only been in existence for four year! The players and coaches have laid the foundation for what we expect will be continued success for years to come!
As the Head Coach of the Oakdale Football team, I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. We take great pride in our program and our goal is to continue to uphold the standard of excellence created by our previous Bears teams. That standard over the last four years has resulted in more than 10 of our players going on to play in college, and our team maintaining a 3.2 team GPA for our entire existence. While it hurts to graduate that level of talent, our younger guys are eager to take those positions and show what they can do. We expect our talent to continue to shine in 2015. Come on out and watch the Bears this fall. We'll put on a show for you!
How you can help the Bears Football team
Continuing to pursue the high standards set by previous Oakdale Football teams requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We attempt to provide our players with the best experience possible, from camps and 7 on 7's in the summer, through the State Playoffs. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Oakdale football supporters from all over. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help continue to grow the tradition of Oakdale Football and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Bears.
As our players continue to work hard in the classroom and weight room in the offseason, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes championship level resources and equipment. As a program still in its infancy, we still need many things for our program. The contributions we receive will help us to cover the costs of equipment, both on field and for the players, weight room improvements, field enhancements and other general season expenses.

A Message From Maurio Goings
Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2015 Oakdale Football team. Our team is working really hard preparing for this season, and we are ready for a long playoff run next fall!
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the football program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
