A message from Head Coach Brian Hoefer
As the Head Coach of the Watervliet Cannoneers Football team, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these young men as they work toward their goals, both on the field and in life. We have a great group of kids that I have really enjoyed getting to know. Their work on the field and with the Capital District Pop Warner Challenger program has been tremendous. I can't wait to see them in action this season!
As we head in to my third year at Watervliet, I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. We take great pride in our program and our goal is to establish a tradition of excellence on the football field. As coaches, we ask a lot from our players and hold them to high standards in the classroom, on the football field, and in the community. Our program is looking forward to the 2015 season and all of the challenges that will come along with it. The advances our players made individually and as a team in 2014 will take us a long way this season.
I would like to thank you in advance for your support and assistance in making our players and teams successful.
How you can help the Cannoneers Football team
Creating higher standards for the Watervliet Football team requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We want to provide our players with the best experience possible, from camps and 7 on 7's in the summer through the State Playoffs. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Watervliet football supporters from all over. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help enhance the tradition of Watervliet Football and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Cannoneers.
As our players continue to work hard in the classroom and weight room in the offseason, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes championship level resources and equipment. The contributions we receive will help us to cover the costs of apparel, training equipment, practice gear, balls, blocking pads, and practice jerseys. Your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young men of character, integrity, and pride.
Thank you in advance for your support!

A Message From Brian Hoefer
Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2015 Watervliet Football team. Our team is working really hard preparing for this season, and we are looking to make the playoffs next fall!
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the football program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
Thanks again and I hope you can come to see me and our team play this fall!
