A Message from the Chorus Director Craig Robertson
The Sandy Creek High School Chorus is gearing up for another exciting year! We had quite a successful year last year, including having the honor to perform for the Shawnee Press 75th Anniversary Concert on the DCINY Concert Series at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The Sandy Creek High School Chorus has a tradition of excellence and outstanding achievement offering a valuable opportunity for musical growth and development to its talented members through a variety of performance outlets.
The SCHS Chorus is one of the top choral programs in Georgia with numerous achievements:
• Superior ratings in Large Group Performance Evaluation
• Numerous District Honors Chorus and All-State Chorus members
• Performances for the Georgia Music Educators Association and the American Choral Directors Association Conferences
• Honors at regional and national contests
• Invited performances at the Chanticleer National Youth Choral Festival in San Francisco and Carnegie Hall in New York
On behalf of all of the students, parents and staff associated with the Sandy Creek High School Chorus Program, I thank you for your support of our amazing students!
How You Can Help the Sandy Creek Chorus
The accomplishments that we have made over the last few years as a successful organization take hard work, effort, and resources. As part of our efforts to expand our reach into the community and to generate additional support, we have the honor of performing at Disney World in Orlando, FL during the spring.
We respectfully request your financial assistance in our effort to provide our chorus members with the best possible opportunities. If our students are able to attend all performances that we have scheduled, they will enjoy a level of musical artistry and performance environment that few students ever get to experience. Performing at Disney World in front of thousands of people is a life-changing event that will provide memories to last a lifetime! Your donation can help our deserving students share their talents beyond the state of Georgia. Additionally, the funds raised will help cover the travel expenses and offset the hotel and lodging costs.
We are so appreciative of the support that we have received over the years and we are excited about the growth of the Choral Program at Sandy Creek and its potential to develop the talent in our youth as we garner more support from the community.

A Message From John
I can't tell you how excited I am about the 2014-2015 school year and all it will bring! Each of the Chorus members got together and created a fundraising page to send out to our friends and family. I'm reaching out to you because I consider you an integral part of my family and friends who support my academic and extracurricular endeavors.
In Spring 2015, Mr. Robertson will be leading us to Disneyworld in Orlando, FL to perform in front of thousands of people. I'm looking forward to accompanying the chorus but I need your help. Mr. Robertson has challenged each of us to raise $350 towards the total cost of the trip ($575). My personal goal is raise enough funds to cover the total cost of this special trip. Any amount that you can donate to support me will be greatly appreciated!
