A message from the Alexandria Titans Youth Football Booster Club
The Alexandria Titans are looking forward to the 2014 season!
As we head into our 2014 season, the Titans Youth Football Booster Club has been busy planning this upcoming year. Our rapid growth is a testament to our tremendous coaches, as well as the great families in our program who have spread the word. With your continued support, we know we can make this season a fun, safe learning experience for our area youth.
Our program has been very fortunate over the years. Thanks to the City of Alexandria subsidizing our program and the hard work of our booster club volunteers, participant fees and uniform costs have been the lowest in the entire Fairfax County Youth Football League. As we all know, local governments have had to cut back their budgets in these tough times and the City of Alexandria is no exception. Therefore, beginning in 2016, the Alexandria Titans will become a private club and will no longer receive city assistance. We must boost our fundraising efforts immediately in order to sustain this wonderful program for the children of Alexandria and we need your help.
With the help of your donations, we will be able to make 2014 the best season yet while also providing a foundation for our journey to a private club. Your support ensures that we can provide the safest equipment available to our teams and keep the participation fees as low as possible. In addition, donated funds will help ensure our continued effort to provide assistance to those in need so that no child who wishes to play this amazing sport is hindered by the cost. Your donations also provide for continued enrollment in USA Football’s Heads Up Football certifications for our coaching volunteers to ensure a safe, quality-learning experience.

How you can help the Titans Football program
The Alexandria Titans Youth Football Booster Club is a nonprofit 501(c)3 that receives no funding from outside sources and is solely dependent on the fundraising efforts of our players, financial support of the parents, and the generosity of the community. As a growing program with the upcoming move to a private club, we have many needs. Growth means more players. This means we need more football equipment and uniforms. There is always a need for safer equipment, especially helmets to keep our children healthy. And there is always the cost of field space and league fees for our young men and women to practice and compete. You are receiving this fundraising page from a football player who thinks you may be able to help. Your donation will help ensure these kids are fully able to take advantage of a life changing experience through football.

A Message From Alejandro Laboy
My teammates and I got together and each created a fundraising page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you.
Our goal is to raise enough money with this fundraiser to help cover the cost of the football season, buy new equipment, keep participant fees low and fund scholarships for my teammates in need. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise $200 but my personal goal is to raise even more! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it. Any amount would be great. My dream is to play the game I love and earn a scholarship to play in college.
I will keep you posted on our schedule this fall. Hopefully you’ll be able to come out and see us play.
