A message from Head Coach Steve Olson
WE ARE THE OTTERS!
As the Head Coach of the Fergus Falls Otters Football team, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these young men as they work toward their goals, both on the field and in life. As a program that has won 2 conference championships (2008 and 2012) in the last 10 years, multiple players having moved on to play in college, and a team recognized for the Sportsmanship Award in the Central Lakes Conference in 2013, the Otters have a lot going for them. In additions, the team received a Gold Star rating from the Minnesota State Football Coaches Association for having a team GPA in the top 12 for Class 4A football. Brains and brawn!
I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. We have a great group of kids that I have truly enjoyed getting to know. In addition to their dedication on the field, they work with a local Veteran's Home in their "Adopt a Grandpa" program, they volunteer at the Veterans Home Parade every summer, and participate in a local "Tackle Cancer" fundraiser. We expect great things from our kids this year, on and off the field, and we can't wait to get started!

How you can help the Otters football team
Maintaining the standards set by previous Fergus Falls Football teams requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We want to provide our players with the best experience possible, from camps and 7 on 7's in the summer through the State Playoffs. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Fergus Falls football supporters from all over. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help establish the tradition of Fergus Falls Football and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Otters.
As our players continue to work hard in the classroom and weight room in the offseason, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes championship level resources and equipment. The contributions we receive will help us to cover the cost of upgrading our well worn home and road jerseys and other general season expenses. It will also help with other facility expenses, such as our contribution toward new artificial turf for our stadium. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young men of character, integrity, and pride.

A Message From Gryphon And Logan Lillis
Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2014 Fergus Falls Otters Football team. Our team has worked really hard this summer and this year’s team is working towards a long playoff run!
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the football program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
