A message from the Westlake Touchdown Club, Inc.
Westlake Football continuously strives to provide our young men with the opportunity to play at the collegiate level and beyond. It’s evident in the 2010 Heisman Trophy winner, NCAA National Championship quarterback at Auburn University and first over-all pick in the 2011 NFL Draft Cameron Newton, who played his prep football at Westlake High School.
Chance Warmack is the latest Westlake alum to be drafted into the NFL. Warmack was chosen as a 1st round pick by the Tennessee Titans last season and started all 16 games.
What’s more impressive? Westlake at one time had more players in the National Football League than any high school in the United States. Further, we have more than 25 players playing at the collegiate level from Division I to NAIA.
The Lions football supporters are extremely excited about this upcoming season. We take great pride in our program and our goal is to continue to uphold the standard of excellence created by previous Lions teams. The coaching staff demands a lot from our players and holds them to high standards in the classroom, weight room, football field, and in the community. This standard of excellence has created some extraordinary results. We expect this to continue in 2014. Come on out and watch the Lions this fall. We'll put on a show for you!
How you can help the Westlake Lions Football team
Continuing to pursue the high standards set by previous Westlake High Football teams requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We attempt to provide our players with the best experience possible, from camps and 7 on 7's in the summer, through the State Playoffs. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Lions football supporters from all over. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help sustain the tradition of Westlake Football and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Lions.
As our players continue to work hard in the classroom and weight room in the off-season, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes championship level resources and equipment. The contributions we receive will go towards the repair and replacement of worn and unsafe equipment, practice gear, pre-game meals and nutritional supplements, and bus transportation to games, 7 on 7 tournaments, and camps. My goal is to give these players the best four years of their lives while they play for Westlake.
Thank you in advance for your support!

A Message From Payton Reed
Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2014 Westlake High Football team. Our team is working really hard this off-season, and we are ready for a long playoff run next fall!
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the football program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
Also, if you get a chance, check out our team webpage:
www.westlakelionsfootball.org
Here you can check rosters, scores, game times and get up to date information on the team.
Thanks again and I hope you can come to see me and our team play this fall!
