A message from Head Coach Venson Elder
Each year at Rockdale County High School, our student - athletes continue to set the standard of excellence within our community. Year after year, the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our players, parents, and the staff at RCHS enables us to maintain our legacy of being one of the finest high school programs in the state of Georgia. Rockdale County High school is part of the GHSA in Region 2-6-AAAAAA. RCHS has proven excellence in both academics and athleticism. In addition to sports, RCHS has been named a 2014 Advanced Placement (AP) Honor School for AP Access & Support, AP Merit , AP Stem achievement by the Georgia State Superintendent of Schools. From 2012-2013 the core GPA’s of our senior class increased tremendously landing 13 offers for our seniors to colleges and universities throughout the U.S.
In 2012 we made it to the 1st round of playoffs. This was our first time in four years for our football program.
In 2013 we are pleased to say we doubled our wins, in addition to accomplishing the following:
Ø 2013 Conyers Cup Champions
Ø 2013 Newton/Rockdale County Line Classic Champions
Ø 13 Student-Athletes committed to Colleges and Universities for the 1st time in RCHS Football History
Ø Highlighted and recognized in Fox 5’s Team of the Week
Ø Runner up in the Jonas Jennings 7-on-7 Football Classic
Success breeds success, and these are the building blocks for our future as champions!
How you can help the Rockdale Bulldogs Football Team
The Rockdale Touchdown Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation organized for the sole purpose of Rockdale County High School Football Program.
Funds raised by our booster club are used solely for supporting our football program. In addition to support, our mission is to assist RCHS football coaches, increase community interest, and recognize the endeavors and achievements of our student-athletes. A successful booster club provides its players with added emotional and psychological support. This is important during the course of a season, as different challenges could affect the performance of the team. RTC is prepared to do just that.
Fundraising efforts enable the RTC to purchase items, such as, but not limited to; equipment, uniforms, and field maintenance, important tools needed to enhance our football program. This involvement consists of both volunteers and the financial support required to foster the development of our student athletes and to maintain a high quality football program.
As an effort to obtain our goals and to make our booster club a success, we need the help of family, friends, and local businesses such as you!

A Message From Deonta (DJ)(Donald Bess Granson)
GO BULLDOGS!!
Thanks for checking out my personal sponsorship page for Rockdale County Bulldogs Football. All the players got together and created our own donation page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you. My main goal is to raise money to help offset the cost of the season’s expenses which are really expensive. We have been challenged by the coaches to raise $250 each, but my personal goal is to raise much more because my mom is not in a position to pay $600 for me to play a sport that I love Football.
I’ve been working really hard this off-season and plan on continuing to work hard all the way through the end of the next football season. If you would be willing to help me out with a donation of any kind, I would really appreciate it. No donation is to small. Hopefully you’ll be able to come out and watch us play this season!
