A message from the Coaches...
As the Coaches of the Kennesaw Mountain High School Cheer team, we are honored to have the opportunity to work with these young athletes as they achieve their goals, both in the gym and in life!
Our Varsity Squad came in 4th at the 2012 State Championship in Columbus. In 2013 we won the Region Championship that was held at Kennesaw Mountain High School in October. Since 2012 at least 10 KMHS cheerleaders have received academic, athletic, or community service scholarships. Over 30 KMHS cheerleaders have been awarded as All American Cheerleaders and many have gone on to cheer at the next level at including Georgia Tech, Shorter College, Brown University, West Georgia and as a member of the UCA Cheer Staff. This year our team plans to go all the way - Region and State Champs!
Year after year we continue to not only excel in the arena of High School Cheerleading, but within our school and community as well. Our girls have exemplified excellence through academics, athletic skills in cheerleading, and throughout our school and community. We look forward to continuing our tradition of supporting our school and community through: Special Education Field Day, Blue Skies, Horizon Baseball for Special Needs, Shop With A Mustang, Little Cheer Camp, Special Needs Dance, 4 Quarters for Research, and Habitat for Humanity.
How you can help the Mustang Cheer Program
The accomplishments we have made the past few years as cheerleaders, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort, and resources. Unfortunately, high school athletics are not completely funded by our school and county. The large majority of our program's funding continues to be generated from the girls, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community.
As our young ladies are preparing for this long season, we respectfully request your financial assistance. The contributions we receive will help us offset costs for uniforms, cheer camp, practice wear, pre-game meals, and travel costs for the team. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our cheerleaders and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young ladies of character, integrity, and pride. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is appreciated, and a receipt will be issued for your tax deductible donation.

A Message From Megan McGuiness
GO MUSTANGS!!
Please consider helping my team as we prepare for the 2014-15 season. We got together and each created a fundraising page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you.
We have each been challenged to raise $350 but my personal goal will be to raise more... If you would be willing to help me with a donation of any size, I would really appreciate it. I'll keep you posted on how our squad is doing as we go through the season.
