A message from Head Coach Paul Rorke
Syosset Football is enjoying the view from the top of the mountain after the 2014 season, and looking to ride the momentum built from last season's first ever Long Island Championship. The Braves took home the Long Island Championship with a convincing 35-13 victory over Lindenhurst.
As Head Coach of the Braves Football team, I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. We take great pride in our program and our goal is to continue to uphold the standard of excellence created by previous Syosset High teams. While 2014 was a great year, we continue to expect greatness from our teams year after year. We graduated a number of fine young men in 2014. But those graduations just open up positions for the next class of players, and those players are hungry to get their chance on the field. It's an exciting time in Braves Football. We can't wait to get started!
Come on out and watch the Braves this season. We'll put on a show for you!
How you can help the Braves Football team
We are asking for your continued support by donating to our 2015 fundraiser. The accomplishments we have made as players, coaches and as an organization take hard work, sacrifice and resources. Unfortunately high school athletics are only partially funded by our school and county. The large majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated by our players, their parents and the support and generosity of our Syosset Football Community. This support structure is an integral part of the success of our program and we rely on it heavily
Your financial support is critical to our success. Monies raised not only help sustain but also enhance the commitment to excellence that we have made in our football program. Last year, your donations helped us pay for team clothing, meals, camps, our team celebration dinner, and our end of the year awards banquet. The list goes on and on.
We respectfully request your financial assistance to continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes with the finest high school football experience possible. Your contributions will allow us to provide our players and staff the support needed to continue to develop strong, disciplined young men of character, integrity and virtue in which the Syosset community will take great pride
Respectfully,
Paul Rorke

A Message From Brandon Horelick
Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2015 Syosset Braves Football team. Our team has been working really hard this summer, and we are working towards a long playoff run
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the football program. The Booster Club has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
Thanks again and I hope you can come to see me and our team play this fall in our quest for another Long Island Championship!
