The Syosset High School Football Program is looking forward to another exciting season of Braves football in 2013. We have established a solid foundation for success as evidenced in some of our recent accomplishments:
• Earned Playoff appearances in 8 of the last 13 seasons.
• Nassau County Semi Finals and Big Four Championships 2000, 2002, 2009,& 2010.
• 16 All County Players, 4 All Long Island selections, 3 All State Players in past 5 years.
• Average 11 seniors per season in the National Honor Society
• Recent Braves Football Alumni continue to play at many colleges including, Tulane, Rutgers, Princeton, Wesleyan, Carnegie Mellon, Union, Utica, Buffalo State, Cortland, CW Post, Pace and Alfred.
We hope to build on the above in 2013 and create another memorable chapter in Syosset Football history.
How you can help the Syosset Braves Football team
The accomplishments we have made as players, coaches, and as an organization take hard work, sacrifice and resources. Unfortunately high school athletics are only partially funded by our school and county. The large majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated by our players, their parents and the support and generosity of our Syosset Football Community. This support structure is an integral part of the success of our program and we rely on it heavily. This fundraiser will not only help sustain, but enhance the commitment to excellence that we have made in our football program. The Football Booster Club has been instrumental in allowing us to improve our weight room, pay for team camps, provide transportation, pay for team meals, and as always, keep the cost of our yearly awards banquet affordable. Our goal is to continually provide our student-athletes with the best facilities, coaching and equipment of any football program on Long Island.
As our young men work hard this off-season in the weight room, camps and summer practice in preparation for the season, we respectfully request your financial assistance to continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes with the finest high school football experience possible. Your contributions will allow us to provide our players and staff the support needed to continue to develop strong, disciplined young men of character, integrity and virtue in which the Syosset community will take great pride.

A Message From Anthony Carchietta
Are you ready for some football? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2013 Syosset Braves Football team. Our team has shown great success over the years and this year’s team is working towards the goal of winning the Nassau County championship!
One of our first challenges, off the field, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the Football Booster club, including buying equipment and apparel, upgrading of our video system, and helping to pay for some of our camp costs. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
