A message from Coach Mandy Crossen
As the Head Coach of the Northwest Whitfield Bruins Cheer squad, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these young men and women as they work toward their goals, both in the gym and in life. Seeing these young men and women grow over their four years in high school keeps all of us coaches young and excited to come to work each day.
The Northwest Whitfield Cheer Program has a reputation as one of the top SPIRITED programs in Whitfield County as well as throughout the great state of Georgia. Year after year we continue to excel in not only the competitive arena of Georgia High School Cheerleading, but within our school and community as spirited leaders of Bruins Nation. We look forward to continuing our tradition of supporting our community by participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for a Cure and other volunteer events throughout the year. Our cheerleaders have exemplified excellence through academics and the advancement of athletic and leadership skills in cheerleading throughout our school and community.
How you can help our Cheer Program
The accomplishments we have made the past few years as cheerleaders, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort, and resources. Unfortunately, high school athletics are not completely funded by our school and county. The large majority of our program's funding continues to be generated from the girls, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community.
It is a year-round endeavor to maintain a highly competitive program and provide our young athletes with the advantage needed to contend at this level. Ultimately, the key to our success as a program is having support from people like you – those who care the most. The contributions we receive will help us offset costs for uniforms, equipment, competition entry fees, and travel costs for the team. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our cheerleaders and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young men and women of character, integrity, and pride. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is appreciated.

A Message From Allison Horne
LET'S GO BRUINS, LET'S GO!!
Please consider helping my teammates and me as we enter the 2014-15 season. We got together and each created a fundraising page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you.
We have each been challenged to raise $400 but my personal goal will be to raise more... If you would be willing to help me with a donation of any size, I would really appreciate it!
I'll keep you posted on how our squad is doing as we go through the season.
