A message from Coach Rob Marone

WE ARE THE TROJANS!

As the Head Coach of the Lyman Hall Trojans Football team, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these young men as they work toward their goals, both on the field and in life. We take great pride in our program as we continue to uphold the standard of excellence we expect on and off the field. As coaches, we ask a lot from our players and hold them to high standards in the classroom, weight room, football field, and in the community. We promote leadership in the community by raising funds to support Breast Cancer research, participating in the “Community Service Day” each year, and raking leaves for the elderly in Wallingford.

We are looking forward to the 2014 season and all of the challenges that will come along with it. We have high expectations this year as student athletes are working hard in the weight room and on the field to prepare for the upcoming season. I have truly enjoyed getting to know this great group of young men and expect even greater things from them this year.

I would like to personally invite all of our Trojans supporters to join us this season in support of our student athletes as we strive to improve our record from last season and keep pushing forward. With the leadership of our dedicated coaches, combined with the hard work and commitment of our athletes, and the support of our great community, we will have an outstanding season!

How you can help the Trojans Football Program

The accomplishments made as players, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort and resources. Unfortunately, high school athletics are not completely funded by our school and county. A substantial amount of our program's funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community.

As our athletes are working hard this off-season in the weight room and on the practice field preparing for the season, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts in providing our student athletes the best and safest equipment possible. Additionally, the contributions we receive will allow us to contribute to the cost of attending the Southern Connecticut State University Summer Football Camp, new video equipment and technology, and badly needed upgrades to our weight room. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young men of character, integrity, and pride.

Thanks in advance for your support,

Rob Marone

GO TROJANS!!

Thanks for checking out my personal sponsorship page for Lyman Hall Football. All the players got together and created our own donation page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you. My main goal is to raise money to help pay for my "pay to participate" fees, summer camp at SCSU, better and safer equipment, and weight room upgrades. We have been challenged by the coaches to raise $250 each, but my personal goal is to raise much more!

I’ve been working really hard this off-season and plan on continuing to work hard all the way through the end of the football season. If you would be willing to help me out with a donation, I would really appreciate it. I hope you’ll be able to come out and watch us play this season!
