A message from Head Coach Derek Cook
As the Head Coach of the Kell High School Football Team, I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. We take great pride in our program and our goal is to continue to uphold the standard of excellence we expect on and off the field. As coaches, we ask a lot from our players and hold them to high standards in the classroom, weight room, football field, and in the community. We are proud to have 36 players receive scholarships to play at the next level and the staff is dedicated to developing every player both on and off the field.
Our program is looking forward to the 2013 season and all of the challenges that will come along with it. The foundation has been laid for consistent success and with several returning players we are looking forward to making another run deep in the playoffs for the 6th straight year. I would like to personally invite all of our Longhorn supporters to join us this season at the Corky Kell Classic at the Georgia Dome in support of our student athletes.
We expect the 2013 season to be a year of great success throughout our Football program. Success breeds success, and these are the building blocks for our future as champions!
How you can help the Kell Football Team
Continuing to pursue the high standards set by previous Kell Football teams requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We attempt to provide our players with the best experience possible while keeping them safe on the field. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Longhorns football supporters from all over. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help sustain the tradition of Kell Football and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Longhorns.
As our players continue to work hard in the classroom and weight room in the offseason, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes championship level resources and equipment. The contributions we receive will help us to cover the costs of upgrading some outdated field equipment, providing pre-game meals and the safest helmets and shoulder pads we can buy for the players.

Thanks for checking out my personal sponsorship page for Kell Football. All the players got together and created our own donation page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you. My main goal is to raise money to help offset the cost of the season’s expenses and travel costs. We have been challenged by the coaches to raise $300 each, but my personal goal is to raise much more!
I’ve been working really hard this off-season and plan on continuing to work hard all the way through the end of the next football season. If you would be willing to help me out with a donation, I would really appreciate it. Hopefully you’ll be able to come out and watch us play this season!
