A message from Head Coach Chelsea Hoke
Winning... Everybody wants to do it, but not everyone wants to do what it takes! Winning takes drive, practice, persistence, focus, sacrifice, and maximum effort. Here at THE Marion C. Moore School, we are working hard to instill this into our athletes; life is filled with many challenges and trials, and I want my athletes to understand that the very same skills mentioned above to win, are applicable to the challenges and trials that life will throw at them. The Marion C. Moore Lady Mustangs Basketball team isn't afraid to put in the many hours it takes to create and continue this winning culture. In fact, these young ladies are so focused on creating and maintaining that culture, they are jumping right back into a offf-season/summer program to help work on their game, both individually and as a team. With so much of our 2020-21 season lost to the coronavirus, the girls are itching to get back at it and make 2021-22 their best season ever!
The Lady Mustangs Basketball program takes great pride in hard work and building a winning culture, on and off of the basketball court. Our goal is to continue to uphold the high standard set by our past teams, both on and off the court. As of now, we will have our lone senior for the upcoming season. Our senior, along with her teammates will provide the leadership we need for success, and our hard working and persistant underclassmen will create the competition we need to make every player better. Our team has faced a lot of adversity in the two years I have been head coach. Having these young ladies stick through it all and come back for more, is the perfect demonstration of the team's drive and determination to achieve measurable success. We anticipate great things in the upcoming seasons!
The Marion C. Moore Lady Mustangs Basketball team is much more than just a team. My coaching staff are working hard by myside to create this culture of Family and hard work. The Lady Mustangs NEED your support in creating and maintaining such a culture!
How you can help the Mustangs Basketball team
Continuing to pursue the high standards set for The Marion C. Moore Lady Mustangs Basketball team requires commitment, hard work, and resources. We attempt to provide our players with the best experience possible, providing them with the training and equipment they need to be successful. The majority of our program’s funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity of Moore Basketball supporters. The supporting cast is absolutely crucial to the success of this program. We hope that this fundraiser will help establish a winning tradition at Marion C. Moore High School and give our student-athletes the best possible experience while playing for the Lady Mustangs.
As our players continue to work hard in the classroom and on the court in preparation for next season, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide our student-athletes championship resources and equipment. The contributions we receive will help us to cover the cost of our summer program, player apparel, travel, pre-game meals, a team banquet, and other general season expenses we may incur through next season. More importantly, your contributions will allow us to provide our players and staff the support needed to continue to develop strong, disciplined young ladies of character, integrity and virtue in which the Moore community will take great pride.

A Message From Chelsea Hoke
Are you ready for some hoops? I am! I can't wait to get out on that brand new gym floor during the off season to work with our Marion C. Moore Lady Mustangs Basketball team. Our team is getting right back at it so we can hit the 2021-22 season hard!
One of our first challenges, off the court, is to raise enough money to cover the costs of our season. I am challenging our girls to raise $3000 as a group. If you would be willing to help us out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
