A message from Darlene Norris
This year marks the 19th anniversary season for the GA Pearls Girls Basketball club. 2020 was a bump in the road that kept us from playing as much as we would have liked, so this year the Georgia Pearls are looking forward to continuing their tradition of competing in excellence and being ambassadors for Christ. Our focus is on continued development, execution, and exposure for our young athletes. We have laid the groundwork for consistent success and fully expect to continue our winning tradition in 2021.
The GA Pearls organization was developed by LADYS, Inc. and started with 5 teams. We have grown to service more than 150 athletes yearly. With a 95% retention rate, the GA Pearls are the largest girls basketball club south of Atlanta. With teams ranging from 4th grade to juniors in HS, the GA Pearls have graduated more than 100 student-athletes who have received collegiate athletic scholarships to play at the next level.
We are very excited about this upcoming season as we continue to develop exceptional basketball players and exceptional young ladies!!
How you can help the Georgia Pearls Basketball program
The accomplishments we have made as players, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort and resources. Over 100 players have received scholarships to play at the college level and we are dedicated to the development on and off the court of each of our players. Unfortunately, club travel basketball is not funded by our school or county. The entire budget of our program's funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community.
As our athletes are working hard this season in the classroom and on the court, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts to provide a championship caliber program. The contributions we receive will allow us to cover our needed uniforms, our team’s travel related expenses and planned tournament fees. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young women of character, integrity, and pride.

A Message From Alyssia Bandele
Are you ready for some basketball?? I am !! All the Georgia Pearls basketball players got together and each created a fundraising page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you.
Our goal is to raise enough money with this fundraiser to help cover the cost of team travel and tournament fees as well as gym space for our practices. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise $400 but my personal goal is to raise more. If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it. I will keep you posted on how my team and I are doing as we prepare for our season. Thanks again and hopefully you’ll be able to come out and see us play this year.
