A message from Head Coach Rosslyn Burrs
As the Head Coach of the Duval Tigers Cheer squad, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these young ladies as they work toward their goals, both as a cheerleader and in life. Seeing these young women grow over their years in high school keeps all of us coaches young and excited to come to work each day.
The Duval Cheer Program has a reputation as one of the top spirited and competitive programs in the great state of Maryland. Year after year we continue to excel in not only competitive arena of Maryland High School Cheerleading, but within our school and community as spirited leaders of Tiger Nation. Last year we competed in 4 cheer competitions and placed 1st in 2 of them. Throughout the year we worked on tumbling but only ended up having 3 girls able to tumble. Normally placing first without tumbling is out of the question. The Duval Cheerleaders worked hard, stuck together and persevered. We plan on bringing home even more trophies with our new and improved tumbling skills we will be learning this year!

How you can help the Tigers Cheer squad
The accomplishments we have made the past few years as players, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort and resources. Unfortunately, high school athletics are not completely funded by our school and county. The large majority of our program's funding continues to be generated from the players, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community.
As our young women are preparing for next season, we respectfully request your financial assistance. The contributions we receive will help us pay for items such as cheer accessories, tumbling and competition fees, travel costs, and other general season expenses we will incur over the season. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young ladies of character, integrity, and pride.

A Message From Menah Liverpool
Please consider helping my teammates and I as we prepare for the 2019 season. We all got together and each created a fundraising page to send out to our friends and family. I thought that I would send it to the special people in my life, so I hope you don’t mind that I included you.
We have each been challenged to raise $300 but my personal goal will be to raise more. If you would be willing to help me with a donation of any size, I would really appreciate it.
