A message from Head Coach Mike Gale
As Head Coach of the Stuarts Draft Cougars basketball team, I am honored to have the opportunity to work with these young men as they work toward their goals, both on the court and in life. As we begin the 2017-18 season, the entire organization - players, coaches, and the Booster Club - is working very hard to help the Cougars have their best season possible. Coming off a 19 win season, our best in school history, we have a lot to live up to. While we graduated a group of fine young men, we have a great collection of student-athletes returning. We have a strong mix of experience and youth that should allow us to not only be competitive this year but in the foreseeable future, as well.
I am extremely excited about this upcoming season. Although it’s early in the school year, we have been hard at work in the classroom, as well as our efforts in strength and conditioning and player and team development on the court. We have a great group of kids that have already come together as a basketball family. We anticipate the 2018 graduating class will continue our tradition of high scoring, exciting basketball that the Cougar community has come to expect!

How you can help the Cougars Basketball team
The accomplishments we have made as student athletes, coaches, and an organization take hard work, effort and resources. Unfortunately, high school athletics are not completely funded by our school or our county. The large majority of our program's funding continues to be generated from the athletes, their parents, and the support and generosity in the community.
As our players work hard this season on the court and in the classroom, we respectfully request your financial assistance as we continue our efforts in providing our student athletes the most rewarding experience possible. The contributions we receive will allow us to cover the cost of practice uniforms, equipment and assistance in paying for the boys to attend a team camp. Most important of all, your generous donation will provide our players and coaches with the support needed to develop strong, disciplined young men of character and integrity.

A Message From Kevin Ooten
Are you ready for some hoops? I am! I am also very excited to be part of the 2017-18 Stuarts Draft Basketball program. Our team is working really hard preparing for this season.
One of our first challenges, off the court, is to raise enough money to maintain the activities of the basketball program. Our coach has challenged each of us to raise at least $300 -- but more would be even better! If you would be willing to help me out with a donation I would really appreciate it.
