A message from Wallington-Carlstadt Little League

THE VIEW FROM THE TOP!

On Sunday, August 3, the Wallington-Carlstadt 9 and 10 year old All-Stars defeated the Robbinsville All-Stats 6-3 to claim the New Jersey 9 and 10 year old State Championship! The twelve young ladies on the All-Star team are enjoying their 15 minutes of fame! The State Championship game on Sunday, followed by a fire truck parade in the town of Wallington on Monday. These ladies are living the rock star life!

While the girls are enjoying their notoriety as the State Champions, they are also preparing for the next round. On Friday, August 7 they will advance to the Regional tournament in West Pittston, PA. There they will test their skills against a new set of opponents with the goal of bringing another trophy home to Wallington!

A Message From Wallington-Carlstadt Boosters

While the girls are working hard, preparing for their next challenge, we are trying to raise funds to help cover the cost of the Regional Tournament. Donations received will help defray the travel costs the families will incur in travelling to PA to support the girls. This is a once in a lifetime experience for these girls and their families, and we would like to make sure that they can enjoy it without financial concerns.
